Media Center
General information
The Rock Hill High School Library Media Center strives to supplement and enhance the educational experiences which are the intended outcome of classroom activities. The library is an extension of the classroom and is dedicated to providing all users with informational services to assist them in both in-school and out-of-school pursuits. The media center attempts to instill a love of reading in its users by providing a variety of materials to interest and appeal to all tastes.

Whether you have an assignment, research paper, project or just need the answer to a question, the library is open from 8:00 a.m until 4:15 p.m. to help. The media specialist can help you access a broad range of resources including the online catalog, various periodical and reference and databases, online encyclopedias and dictionaries, and useful Internet websites.
There is never a charge for borrowing materials from the library, but there are late fees for overdue materials. Most books can be borrowed for two weeks. Reference books are available for overnight loan. If you cannot find the material for which you are searching, please ask the library staff. They may be able to help you borrow items from other Rock Hill School district school libraries as well as place items on hold that are currently checked out.
